Modbus simulators that can view extended range registers...
Communications systems and equipment. topic
Posted by Tom Berninger on 12 December, 2008 - 10:23 am
I am looking for a modbus simulator that will be able to read extended registers. The modbus systems I work with are serial links as well as over ethernet. I need to test as a slave and as a master. Any tips or thoughts on this? I currently use the Calta modbus simulator, but have not figured out how to read the extended ranges, if it is even possible. Thank you for any information you can provide.

The Calta "Mdbus" simulator will allow retrieval of 65535 registers for each data type.
