Modbus TCP communication between PLC and RFID

We have to connect a PLC with Modbus TCP communication (Master or slave, no problem) and an RFID (FEIG - OBID CPR5010) with TCP protocol.
The problem is that the CPR Start software allows to be customized with C++ and via DLLs but we have a PLC. I am afraid the 2 systems cannot dialog together and we need to either replace the RFID or install a converter in between.
