In Substation i have Numerical relays with fiber optics ports which is communicating on modbus protocols and energy meters with RS485 electrical port on modbus protocol. Modbus parameters for meters and relays( such as Baud rate else) are the same.

Now i want to integrate meters and relay with PLC on same loop.

For numerical relays i have used star coupler which have fiber connection to connect the relay ( its connected to the relays with one fiber connection to one relay on star topology) and one RS485 port for upper level connectivity.
PLC have RS485 ports. So in multdrop topology shall i connects the Meters and Star couplers on same RS485 loop. As conventionaly we do if we have more than 2 meters.
