You need the programming software for that PLC in order to upload that file into the PLC. I am guessing you talking about the Compact PLC, for which you will need Proworx or Concept in order to talk to the PLC.
You would be requiring dedicated Software related to your PLC Model, e.g., For XEO/Micro/Premium use Proworx7.0 by Schneider Electric. For Quantum use Concept up to 512 model, & above 512 series use UNITY.
Furthermore, you have to stop your controller for uploading the program.
You would need the programming tool to do that... Schneider Electric's programming tools are varied and confusing to say the least. Let's see now; For TSX Compact that would be ProWorx (ProWorx replaced Modsoft. Modsoft has been taken off the catalogue). For TSX Quantum that could be ProWorx, Concept or Unity! For TSX Nano that would be PL7-07. For TSX Micro that would be PL7 Micro/Junior/Pro. For TSX Premium that could be PL7 Junior/Pro or Unity! Then of course there is the Twido which requires Twidosoft and there is the Zelio has the Zeliosoft. Mind boggling, huh??
So really, tell us which model of TSX PLC are you refering to?
We had used Modsoft to program our AEG Modicon Micro 110 CPU 51201. Do you know of any software that is compatible? We want to download what was programed into (2) existing PLCs - so if one were to go bad we could merely upload the info into a new PLC. My e-mail address is mdswan @ hollandterminal. com
Talking about Modicon, does anyone know how to connect Modicon to Asset management Software? We would like to get data up modicon to AMS and appreciate any solution you can offer.
